But we usually use the term Eau de Parfum because most people have never heard of Extrait (despite the fact that our perfumes are technically stronger than EDP).

This scent was bursting to be freed! Notes bouncing around happily….. then they simmer down as the grounding influences make their entrance. I noticed the almond lasted quite a while, through to the dry-down where there’s a perfect equation, in harmony. A beautuful slightly sweet, musky-vanilla emerged on the dry-down, and its not ‘common’, this is a beautiful new scent. Not overpowering or quirky, quietly confidant and something l would be happy to wear in any scenario. Class act (again) Aerre, thank you so much.

This is actually a review for Honey Orchid as I accidentally got reviews wrong 🤣 Having said that, like 'Molten Kiss', Aerre has a knack for creating really sensual fragrances that linger and long to be held. 'Honey Orchid' is a lighter touch that still feels incredibly sweet and less serious, but still impactful in its sweet signature notes. It definitely has hints of honey and vanilla, signalling the dawn of spring or daybreak - it's an incredible fragrance around the office after wearing it for about a week. Confident, yet subtle, it's a beautiful scent I'll keep.

This fragrance is like WD-40 and vanilla cake. It has a very artificial scent like something used for a mechanical cake shop. Not a fan, unfortunately I was disappointed in this one.

Blind bought this molten kiss as its base notes seems to be the least musky woody amongst all the Tom Ford inspired amongst Aerre. The first notes smells acidic, fading quickly into nutty, slightly floral notes. The lingering smell for the rest of the day is musky vanilla. Honestly I couldnt appreciate this perfume as I find it too masculine and wanted to return it as it also doesnt seem to be as lasting as Eleanore and Fleur de Reve. Then I decided to try layering the 2 scents individually on Molten Kiss and surprisingly I love both combinations, particularly the combination of fruity Eleanore with Molten Kiss.

If you want something sweet and vanilla smelling but not floral, this is a good choice.

It definitely needs time to macerate and mature. It’s been 6 months and it’s still smells like play dough. Vanilla scents need a very very long time of maturation. I think moving forward Aerre should let their vanilla perfumes sit for a long time before selling them. I’ll go back to it in 6 months as I’m sure it’ll smell great then!

I bought this because I love the sound of it, all the elements sound great. However, it smells so strongly of almond that I can't smell anything else and I really, really don't like it. To be fair, I haven't had a sniff of the perfume it is inspired by, so I can't compare it to that. I gave it 2 stars because it did seem to have longevity on my skin.
