This is absolutely divine! My daughter and I have both owned By the Fireplace and this smells so incredibly similar. It lasts beautifully on the skin. So happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

While the notes doesn’t work for me, but it works for my husband. So, I went to wanting to exchange to giving it to him. On him, It smells cozy like we’re at the fireplace in the middle of winter. I love it! Also, I like the magnetic cap and the bottle itself, feels expensive. You guys really did a lot of thought of everything!
I always love by the fire place but find it a bit too strong, after glow smells basically the same but a bit more balanced, I really love it, but definetly a fragrance for cold days, on hot days it might be to much.

Afterglow is gorgeous. I have no regrets with this blind purchase. Well-rounded, spicy, syrupy smell - clove is not overwhelming at all. Gorgeous day & night scent. I only wish it lasted a bit longer on me as it fades after a couple hours for me. Adore though.

I ordered four in total, and Afterglow and Driftwood were my two favourite. I don't own the By the Fireplace so I can't attest to how close of a dupe it is, but it's very warm and comforting. Starts off a bit smokey, and settles quickly into a warm vanilla. Sweeter than I thought it would be, but it doesn't give me a headache like some vanilla scents do!

Missus got me onto the original of this perfume at Mecca but the price tag was insane 😭 this perfume does it justice plus more it lasts all day and smells so warm and woody it’s so relaxing for winter. 10/10 will be buying another when I run out
i love this fragrance so much it is a smooth and balanced fragrance with vanilla and burning woodiness like i cant describe how much i love this bottle as this is my first ever bottle from this brand and i haven't actually got the original Maison Margiela Replica by the Fireplace.
